Episode 06 features Frederick E.O. Toye, TV+Film Director, master storyteller, and all around nice person.  Full interview is available HERE on iTunes, or you can stream it HERE on the web.

Fred has 33 credits as a TV Director on major shows including: Westworld, Person of Interest, The Good Wife, 11.22.63, CSI: Cyber, CSI: NY, Vegas, Hawaii 5-0, Melrose Place, Miami Medical, Ghost Whisperer, Brothers and Sisters, Lost, Alias, and many more.  His credits as a Producer, Editor, and in visual effects are just too long to list – better to look here on IMDb.

During this interview with John, Fred describes how he worked his way up from the bottom of his industry, explains why having fun and being passionate about film is the key to making it, shares some tips about motivating a huge team of creative people, talks about abandoning plans to capture what’s happening in the moment, reveals what it is like to balance a successful career and family life, and gives some advice to the next generation of storytellers coming up in the TV+Film world.  It is a great conversation and Fred’s voice beams with joy.

With permission of  RSVP/Ropeadope Records, this episode also features a portion of the track Joshua Johnson (writer’s credit Robert “Sput” Searight) off the band Ghost-Note’s album Fortified.  You can pick up that album HERE on Bandcamp, HERE on iTunes, or HERE on Amazon.  You can connect with Ghost-Note on Facebook or on Twitter @Ghost_Note Official.
