Since his interview, Fred has been Co-Executive Producer AND Director on five episodes of Season 1 of Designated Survivor.  That stars Keifer Sutherland as Tom Kirkman, a lower-level cabinet member who is suddenly appointed President of the United States after a catastrophic attack on the US Capitol during the State of the Union.

Fred has also been Directing episodes of the HBO series Westworld.  Looks like he will be going back next season to be the Co-Executive Producer AND Director on two episode.  The cast is nuts: Anthony Hopkins, Ed Harris, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Jeffrey Wright, Tessa Thompson, Sidse Babett Knudsen, Jimmi Simpson, Rodrigo Santoro, Shannon Woodward, Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, Ben Barnes, Simon Quarterman, Angela Sarafyan, Luke Hemsworth and Clifton Collins, Jr.
